Facilities Manager

Overall Responsibilities:

Manages day to day activities of maintenance function to maintain operations.

Participates supports and runs 5S and Lean project initiatives.

Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of projects. Gives status updates and regularly monitors contractor work contractor safety and ensures our employees are protected from unsafe interactions.

Analyzes and plans work force utilizations space requirements workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Maintain overall facility layout.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the overall plant preventive maintenance (PM) system and processes per ISO standards.

Provides problemsolving support to manufacturing personnel.

Confers with vendors to determine product specification and arrange for purchase of equipment materials or parts and evaluates products per specifications and quality standards.

Install and maintain injection molding machines.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Microsoft Office

AutoCAD or compatible drawing software package

Hydraulics Pneumatics HVAC knowledge Electrical systems & Electronics.

PLC and/or low voltage.

Previous work with CMMS computerized maintenance management systems preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor s Degree in Engineering

Minimum of 24 years experience and/or training

Electrical and/or electronics experience is preferred
