System Design Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled System Design Lead to join our dynamic team. As a System Design Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the design and architecture of complex systems and applications. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure that our systems meet high standards of reliability scalability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of scalable software systems and architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks for optimal system performance.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Define and enforce best practices for system design coding standards and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all system designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development test and production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 7 years of experience in system design software development or a related area.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing largescale distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and container technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
