SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in SAP PM module implementation projects including project planning blueprinting configuration testing and golive support.
• Develop and manage maintenance strategies preventive maintenance plans and work orders to ensure optimal performance of plant equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with the materials management team to ensure seamless integration of PM and MM modules optimizing procurement and inventory processes for maintenance activities.
• Lead data migration and transformation for master data including material master vendor master equipment master function location structure and task lists using tools like LSMW.
• Configure and customize SAP PM and MM modules to meet business requirements including creating and maintaining master data equipment records and maintenance plans.
• Provide training and support to endusers ensuring they are proficient in using SAP PM/MM functionalities and adhering to best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements recommending and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations processes and user guides.
• Manage project timelines budgets and resources ensuring successful delivery of SAP PM/MM implementation projects.
• Work closely with crossfunctional teams including maintenance procurement finance and IT to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Address and resolve technical issues and system defects ensuring minimal disruption to maintenance operations.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelors degree in information technology Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) modules with at least 3 fullcycle SAP implementation projects.
• Proficiency in SAP PM and MM module configuration integration and customization. Strong understanding of maintenance processes and best practices.
• Experience managing SAP implementation projects including planning execution and postgolive support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements identify gaps and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and support endusers and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• SAP PM and/or MM certification is a plus.
