Job Description
Position : Project Manager
Location : Chicago IL (Hybrid)
Duration : 6 Months with EXT
Need a Tech Savvy PM who has maybe held a development or analyst type role in the past. Will assist with web based app migration project.
DESCRIPTION
- Project management
- Migrating from a standalone work process to a webbased application. We are currently in the requirements gathering phase
3 MUST HAVE SKILLS :
- Project Management skills
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing cross functional teams
- accountability and drive to get results
- Expertise in managing agile projects
- High attention to detail but able to work quickly to meet deadlines
3 NICE TO HAVE:
- PMP certifications
- Project execution with Agile methodologies
- Any preferred industries and/or background
- Airline
Job Summary:
- Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintains organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals strategies practices and user projects.
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures and information security and control structures.
- Recommends information technology strategies policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on stateoftheart practices.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
.Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science Business Management Business Administration or other related discipline
- Experience in the IT industry including development work and customer interaction PMP Certification
