DS Technologies Inc is looking for Physical Therapist role for one of our premier clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients functional abilities limitations and goals.
• Treatment Plans: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals using various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Interventions: Implement and administer therapeutic exercises manual therapy and other interventions to enhance patients mobility strength flexibility and function.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patients progress adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures home exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate them into clinical practice.
• Patient Compliance: Ensure that patients follow their Plan of Care including followups for noncompliance.
• Team Support: Utilize nonclinical staff and delegate tasks to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as applicable.
• Cultural Participation: Actively contribute to a collaborative culture aligned with the companys service vision.
• Adaptability: Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Ethical Standards: Adhere to ethical and professional standards ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for specific conditions and functional limitations.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve physical wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Education: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certifications: CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Experience: Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic neurological or geriatric physical therapy preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.

Physical Requirements:

• Mobility: Ability to move around freely to assist patients and therapists.
• Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients (up to 50 pounds).
• Standing: Extended periods of standing and walking during therapy sessions.
• Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling therapy tools and equipment.
• Visual & Auditory Skills: Ability to observe patients and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to changing tasks and schedules in a dynamic healthcare environment.
