Overview:
PRN Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Denton TX. This role involves providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients helping them regain mobility manage pain and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to delivering personalized and effective therapy programs within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position: Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients functional abilities limitations and goals.
• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Therapeutic Intervention: Implement and administer therapeutic exercises manual therapy and other interventions to enhance patients mobility strength flexibility and function.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patients progress adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures home exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques technologies and best practices integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.
• Compliance: Adhere to ethical and professional standards ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine therapy needs and set treatment goals.
• Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific conditions and functional limitations.
• Therapeutic Techniques: Administer therapeutic exercises manual therapy and modalities effectively to support recovery and enhance physical wellbeing.
• Communication: Engage effectively with patients families and healthcare team members offering education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Documentation: Keep precise and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment results.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Education: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certifications: CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Experience: Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic neurological or geriatric physical therapy preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to work independently and collaboratively and proficient in computer skills for documentation.

• Lifting: Capability to lift and carry equipment or assist patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
