Senior Backend Software Engineer Warehousing

Responsibilities:

1. System Development & Architecture:

   • Lead the research development and architecture of international ecommerce warehouse management systems to provide efficient and intelligent solutions.
   • Design scalable system models and business architectures based on industry best practices and business characteristics.

2. Technical ProblemSolving:

   • Address technical problems such as high concurrency and performance bottlenecks in business processes with effective solutions.

3. System Quality & Stability:

   • Maintain and enhance the quality and stability of the system guiding engineers to optimize various technical indicators.

4. Architecture Design:

   • Apply knowledge in architectural design and implementation focusing on highavailability highperformance and highscalability systems.

5. Distributed Systems Knowledge:

   • Utilize understanding of distributed systems theories including load balancing distributed transactions and CAP/BASE principles.

Requirements:

• Education: BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major.
• Experience: 5 years in a software development environment.
• Coding Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java Golang or C and related technology stacks.
• Middleware: Familiarity with middleware technologies such as message queues caches and scheduled tasks.
• Architecture Experience: Experience in architectural design and implementation particularly in highavailability highperformance and highscalability systems.
• Distributed Systems: Deep understanding of distributed systems theories and principles.
• Complex Systems: Experience in leading the design or reconstruction of medium to large complex systems with a preference for experience in ecommerce and retail.

Ideal Candidate:

• Industry Experience: Prefer candidates from big tech and ecommerce companies such as Amazon Microsoft Walmart Flexport Alibaba Temu Kuaishou Xiaohongshu UPS FedEx or those involved in social media ecommerce and thirdparty logistics.
• Contractor Restrictions: No contractors will be considered; the client does not accept candidates with contractor backgrounds in their most recent roles.
• Coding Skills: Strong coding capabilities are required; initial interviews will focus on coding (via LeetCode) and candidates frequently fall off after the first round.
• Other Restrictions: Avoid candidates with inadequate experience those from small or unknown companies overqualified individuals with 15 years those lacking domain knowledge in logistics or candidates not local to the client location.
