Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT projects (primarily Java/J2EE) as a Technical Manager or Engineering manager
• Take ownership and responsibility for the software engineering function in achieving business objectives.
• Oversee the successful execution and delivery of software products and solutions
• Develop implement and continuously improve a comprehensive platform engineering strategy to ensure all platforms and products are uptodate provide value to product engineering teams and meet the scalability resilience security capacity and maintenance requirements of internal stakeholders
• Manage largescale Java projects and a deep understanding of Java enterprise architecture advanced Java concepts and modern software development practices
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Java projects aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership in Java development and architecture.
• Guide teams in the design development and deployment of scalable and robust Java applications.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including senior management clients and partners.
• Gather requirements define project scope and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Identify and address skill gaps within the teams and provide opportunities for professional development.
• Implement and oversee testing and validation procedures to ensure the delivery of highquality software solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Java Technical Manager /Engineering manager experience
• Computer Engineering background
• Extensive practical experience in creating solutions within distributed architecture environments with a strong expertise in API management microservices and system integration.
• Handson architecting and coding experience in Core Java Java 8 Microservices Spring Boot and REST Web Services
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Extensive and proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and related technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in API platform management including designing managing and delivering cloudbased solutions with a background in Java and J2EE
• Proven track record of leading and managing large distributed teams.
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
