On behalf of our client MARPRO is looking for a Sales Support Officer to join the companys Sales Support team in the Commercial department.

The Sales Support Officer plays a dual role. First the Officer along with the team provides accurate and timely administrative support to Account and Sales Managers for a portfolio of customers. Second they serve as a liaison between the customer sales and various crossfunctional departments to address operational issues.

Key duties

• Provide administrative and sales support to the Account Manager and/or Sales Manager
• Support on daily issues and questions
• Follow up on workflow and NVR list
• Participation with weekly sales meetings
• Daily use of NOVA and AQUA systems
• Contribute to dispute resolution with pricers and backoffices
• Provide assistance on root cause analysis
• Handle all quotation requests from customers (and account managers)
• Followup on quotations
• Accurate filing of quotations including FMC filings
• Provide feedback to the Trade
• Present business cases to HO and Trade
• Promotion of group services and nonmaritime products such as eCommerce Intermodal and CEVA cross selling

Professional Qualifications

• Experience within the shipping industry
• Fluency in Dutch and English French is a preference
• Knowledge of MS Office software CRM software
• Good communication skills (oral & written)
• Customer focused and result driven
• Building relationships & Team player
• Decision quality and problem solving skills
• Able to create presentations
• Priority setting and time management
• The ability to multitask and quickly change your focus
• Adhere to company guidelines and procedures
