Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for a licensed and experienced Lead Hand Heavy Equipment Technician in Port Perry ON.
The successful Lead Mechanic will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair operations in the shop while managing and training other Shop Technicians. Other responsibilities including scheduling work ordering parts and taking part in major diagnostic and repair work on all heavy equipment.
Compensation:
- $40.00 $44.00/hour plus monthly efficiency bonuses paid out quarterly.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision and life insurance.
- 3 weeks paid vacation to start.
- Company vehicle and gas card provided.
- RRSP match.
Shift:
- Days 7AM start time (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Key Qualifications:
- Truck and Coach (310T) and/or Heavy Equipment (421A) Technician license.
- Experience in a Lead Hand role is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of electrical hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Able to work independently.
- Own set of tools.
