Liability And Workers Comp Attorney

We have an immediate opening in our McLean VA office for an associate with 2 years experience in Workers Compensation and Employers Liability. This position focuses on representing employers restaurants and other retail establishments in the defense of workers compensation and liability claims in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. Including defense of product manufacturers in toxic tort claims corporations and privately held companies in premises liability and general commercial liability disputes as well as insured entities and their employees in motor vehiclerelated property and bodily injury claims and lien disputes.

We offer a flexible work environment with options for a hybrid work schedule. We are a paperless office with personal laptops provided for attorneys.

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Candidates should possess strong academic credentials and excellent research writing and communication skills and have the ability to work independently.
• Candidate will be detail oriented organized and selfmotivated.
• Experience with Workers Compensation and employers liability a plus.

Responsibilities:

• The position requires the ability to meet deadlines multitask and handle a high volume of cases.
• Research complicated legal issues.
• Draft pleadings motions memoranda discovery requests and responses and all other documents in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other attorneys and support staff.
• Handle court appearances client meetings and depositions.
• Communicate with clients regularly.
