Senior Tax Manager

Position Overview:

The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the companys tax planning compliance and reporting activities. This role will ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies to benefit the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal state and local tax returns and filings.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the companys tax position and ensure compliance.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on taxrelated issues and opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and update tax practices and strategies accordingly.
• Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on taxrelated matters.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and ensure accurate financial reporting of taxrelated items.
• Manage and mentor junior tax staff providing training and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors and consultants as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• CPA CMA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting with a focus on corporate tax.
• Indepth knowledge of federal state and local tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
