Project Manager

We are a leading designbuild mechanical contractor in Western USA and Western Canada specializing in valueadded engineering and designbuild projects. Our projects range from lowrise and highrise residential hotels offices to industrial and commercial projects. We provide comprehensive mechanical services inhouse including engineering 3Ddesign plumbing sheet metal HVAC refrigeration and controls.

Job Location: Los Angeles CA
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Regional Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple projects/sites or large complex projects.
• Manage project timelines budgets and targets.
• Tender select and award subcontracts.
• Participate in HVAC system design development installation and maintenance.
• Conduct startup meetings and postproject analysis.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost control.
• Monitor labor hours job progress and costs.
• Oversee project documents (RFIs procurement change logs etc.).
• Ensure required permits are obtained.
• Facilitate weekly meetings with foremen and designers.
• Manage completion requests for occupancy/closeout.
• Act as liaison between general contractors and subtrades.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 years in HVAC/plumbing project management.
• Jobsite experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and construction methods.
• Skilled in managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong negotiation and project scope management skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Project.
• Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam is a plus.
