Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Allied)

Location: Watertown NY 13601

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Rotating

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Description / Comment:

• 60 mile radius rule
• Day & Nights Shift 7a7p & 7p7a
• 13 weeks
• Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care
• NY State license
• CRT Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care
• RRT Registered by National Board for Respiratory Care
• Prior experience preferred not required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS NRP and PALS preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications.
• Monitor and adjust ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Respiratory Therapy Certification (CRT or RRT).
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
