Job Description

Strong Coding experience working on Scala

Strong experience on Cassandra AmazonS3 MySQL

Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodologies (knowledge of Rally is a plus)

Working knowledge of Kubernetes

Understanding of Cloud Technologies esp. Azure.

Design implement and maintain Spark applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Spark/ Scala.

Good understanding of Hadoop eco system Hive Hbase Sqoop

Experience on CICD Tools

Develop test implement and maintain application software working with established processes

Communicate effectively with other engineers

Good to have exposure on Apache oozie.

Ability to update/ modify/ create shell scripts to meet the application requirements.

Establish refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed.

Identify production and nonproduction application issues

Identify opportunities to finetune and optimize applications of Spark applications.

Provide technical support and consultation for Spark application and infrastructure questions

Design code test debug document and support all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value

Contribute to development team and help to achieve key business objectives

Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decisionmaking

Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams

Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Ensure timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA

Participate in SCRUM meetings Design reviews Test Case reviews and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases

Achieve harmonious working relationships with business partners and within team

Key skills : Scala Spark Hadoop Hive Databricks Cloud
