Electronic Technician

Responsibilities:
Kings Great Buys Plus is currently seeking a talented Technician to provide support installation maintenance testing diagnosis and repair of various computer network electronic security systems surveillance access control systems and associated equipment

• Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm 40 hours per week.
• Replace failed parts or components and adjust equipment to operational specifications
• Recommend process or procedure changes based on equipment behavior
• Test electrical systems and ensure circuit continuity and safety
• Repair of all electronic equipment.
• Install examine replace or repair electrical components
• Responsible for understanding and use of all test equipment test fixtures and procedures
• Electronic Key & Asset Management
• Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for historical and future maintenance needs
• Assist with product delivery and fulfillment as required.

Qualifications:
The Ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications

• Ability to read schematics
• Strong electronic background
• Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office CMMS Excel etc.)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and OEM manuals
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multi meters/oscilloscopes
• Ability to use precision measuring devices
• Must be hardworking enthusiastic honest trustworthy and reliable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office experience and working familiarity with multiple software packages.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team setting.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fundamental understanding of basic hand and power tool use.
• Documented or demonstrated experience using electronic test and troubleshooting tools such as multi meters oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Must be able to secure a US Passport and/or Passport card as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; able to convey complex technical information in an easily understood manner and interact at all levels of the organization and with customers.
• Ability to multitask and change priorities quickly.
• Ability to work designated schedule as well as maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of machines and tools including their design use repair and maintenance
