Job Description:

SAP Material Management Procurement (MM) Lead :

• This position will focus on implementation and support of SAP projects based on S4 Hana technology.
• A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with multiple stakeholders including business solution architects and developers to implement SAP projects.

Position Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge in Purchasing with basic understanding of SAP Production PM SD WM/EWM and TM
• Must have design and configuration experience in : MM Master Data Business Partner Sourcing Procurement Pricing Inventory management Physical inventory Release Management Version Management Valuation and account assignment Invoice verification MM Fiori apps
• Must have Integration experience SAP with nonSAP external systems (Supplier collaboration Invoicing etc.) / internal legacy systems
• Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents coordination with ABAP team testing of new functionality or Enhancements Prepare Test plans and Test scripts Perform Unit tests and integration tests
• Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain business models SAP Procure to Pay and working on Fiori UI
• Sound knowledge of purchasing integration with other modules of SAP
• Independently take up and participate in Requirement gathering Document preparation EndtoEnd Solution design Functional Spec preparation Realization and Deployment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs Architects Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems
• Identify recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
• Develop review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners
• Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues
• Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager
• Certifications in either SAP MM or S/4 HANA will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods
• Strong understanding and experience of SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products
• Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry
• In depth knowledge of SAP MM user exits batch jobs SAP standard reports
• Ability of handle and lead the development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP
• Contribute for overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology
• Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI
• Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal skills Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
• 1216 years of overall SAP experience in manufacturing environments in which 8 years of experience in SAP MM/Procurement
• Candidate should have done minimum 2 3 MM/Purchasing implementation projects. Minimum 3 E2E implementation
• Must have good knowledge of Indirect & Direct Procurement Intercompany purchase Stock transfer orders and Invoicing
• Experience of S/4 HANA and should be well aware of the S/4HANA roadmap aware of differences between various releases and new innovations that are brought in each of the S/4HANA release
