Reporting to:Manager Corporate R&D

Preferred background/experience:

• 47 years of experience in design and development of industrial products.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks / Creo AutoCAD.
• Handson experience on HVAC products would be an advantage.
• Candidates with a stable work history will be preferred over those with a pattern of job hopping.

Key responsibilities / Key Result Areas:

• Perform a wide variety of engineering and technical tasks for development of solutions to complex problems pertaining to products materials and unique customer applications.
• Perform feasibility study engineering calculations create 3D designs and conduct design checks to confirm compliance with requirements / specifications.
• Collaboration with crossfunctional teams and vendors for building and validation of prototypes during product development.
• Identifying and implementing solutions for design optimization cost reduction and improved manufacturability while maintaining product performance and quality.
• Industrial product / machinery manufacturing companies.

Skills required:

• Analytical skills including handson experimentation / diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of DFM DFA GD&T FMEA.
• Understanding of various manufacturing processes in creating prototypes.
• Creative and problemsolving skills.
