Female Science Teacher

The Automation Engineer (DeltaV) will be responsible for remediation of configuration and document updates resulting from validation testing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality automation leadership as a DeltaV and PLC subject matter expert (SME).
  
• Leverage DeltaV Control System expertise, experience implementing the ISA 88 standard and knowledge of industry-specific best practices to inform the development and execution of validation protocols for the client s new DeltaV Control System.
  
• Generation of new DeltaV graphics
  
• Work with third party vendors to determine solutions to project challenges.
  
• Manage change controls to remediate configuration changes identified during validation testing in compliance with GxP and GAMP guidelines.
  
• Anticipate, recommend, and champion requirements that serve client s best interest.
  
• Coordinate with stakeholder departments to review, update, and approve plans.
  
• Conception, demonstration, and execution of solutions to address requirements and overcome platform and project constraints.
  

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related work or project experience
  
• 5+ years of experience with DeltaV configuration including batch
  
• Experience in developing and executing validation protocols for DeltaV systems
  
• Firm understanding of ISA 88 (S88 Standard)
  
• Experience working in a regulated, GMP manufacturing environment within the Life Sciences industry
  
• Familiarity with Data Integrity principles including, but not limited to 21 CFR Part 11.
  
• Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal oversight
  
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  
• Demonstrate the character traits of accountability, initiative and transparency in executing job functions.
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technological or procedural issues
  
• Must have experience successfully interacting and working with customers at multiple levels of responsibility in a manufacturing or production environment.
