Job Description
- We re looking for a fulltime entrylevel MRI Tech for an Atlantabased hospital. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive healthcare experience great customer service and looking for career advancement. Salary is between $ $29.68 $48.84 hourly based on the candidates experience.
- Offering Sign On Bonus up to $7500
- Job Responsibilities:
- Review physicians orders to confirm prescribed exams.
- Conduct screening interviews of patients to identify contraindications such as ferrous objects pregnancy prosthetic heart valves cardiac pacemakers or tattoos.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques or coils to produce required images.
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one year experience as a Radiology Technologist and 6 months experience as a MRI Technologist preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified required. Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred.
