Network Architect

Architect / Principal Engineer
As the most experienced and knowledgeable in their field of expertise an Architect or Principal Engineer takes technical ownership of the project enabling and influencing technological advancement of projects/ organizations in a chosen domain. The incumbent owns and contributes to the high level design architecture test strategy proposals etc. for existing as well as prospective customer projects.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

• Responsible for providing Architecture/ high level design/ test strategy for the existing projects and new proposals.
  Responsible for identification and evaluation of various tools test languages or test methodologies and choosing the best ones.
• Responsible for participating in Customer interaction for major/critical change requests/new features moderating the meetings and highlighting impact on schedule and effort.
  
• Responsible for reviewing Design Documents and code Test coverage and its alignment with technical objectives.
  
• Responsible for leading the specification of complex requirements in domain of
  
• Responsible for leading/ participating in technical reviews to ensure quality parameters are being met.
  
• Responsible for contribution to RFP/Documentation/complete responsibility for proposal relating to growth in existing accounts/effort estimation for new proposals.
  
• Responsible for ensuring that both functional and nonfunctional (e.g. performance scalability security) requirements will be met or exceeded
  
• Expected to deliver tech talks and write technical papers in internal and external forums.
  
• Expected to contribute to technical capability development of organization through subject matter expertise.
  
• Expected to keep selfupdated on trends new developments tools etc. in ones own area of expertise and proactively share the knowledge
  
  

Requirements

Mandatory skillset:

• B.Tech/M.Tech or MCA with 10 years of experience
  
• Hands on experience on C OOPS and Objected Oriented Design
  
• Experienced in 3GPP or Datacom domain is a must
  
• Experience in defining Architecture of a feature or software in VSAT/Datacom/telecommunication domain
  
• Experience in leading a team technically and taking ownership towards the goal
  

Datacom (Mandatory):

• Design and develop features around Protocols that include BGP MPBGP MPLS ISIS OSPF and other routing protocols
  
• Experience in Debugging network issues related to L2/L3 routing routing protocols TCP/IP Ethernet and WAN systems with the usage of tools like Wireshark Iperf & Spirent
  

OR

Wireless Domain (3GPP) (Mandatory):

• Wireless communication background on 2G3G or 4GMAC and/or RR Layer and/or L1 Controller (L1C)
  
• Mobility aspects Cell selection Cell reselection RACH Handover
  
• Data plane IP packet flows from Application to Wireless PHY layer
  
• Handson experience design and development and testing multithreaded and multiprocess is must
  

Desired skillset

• Development and/or work exposure on VSAT/DVBS2 and proprietary satellite protocols including mobility aspects
  
• Development on satellite networks with GEO and nonGEO orbits
  
• Development on Hub side and/or terminal side
  
• Experience Desired Tools like Wireshark tcpdump IXIA Spirent iPerf JIRA & Confluence
  

• Educational Qualifications: Engineering graduate M.Tech MCA etc
  
• Experience: >10 years
