What you will be doing:

• Protect our critical information systems and assets
• Build solutions and implement new software and hardware
• Provide training and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy
• Develop implement and support a variety of infrastructure platform technologies
• Maintain excellent working relationships with 3rd party vendors
• Implement strategies to increase reliability and decrease cost for technologies
• Implement processes for internal operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
• Ensure data confidentiality integrity and availability
• Provide technical guidance to service partners as needed
• Assist with communication of process changes enhancements and modifications so solutions are understood
• Work closely with development and security teams to identify gaps and implement solutions to drive improvements in reliability security performance and availability
• Work independently and provide guidance in highly complex situations
• Support others to solve complex problems
• Identify innovative solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking
• Provide level 3 Citrix support to the business
• Document operational support tickets with detailed troubleshooting steps and resolutions

Experience you will need:

• Comprehensive knowledge of server storage and networking technologies
• Experience with VMWare vCenter Server and ESXi virtualization technology
• Experience with Citrix Technologies including Workspace WEM UPM PVS MCS Storefront Director Studio Licensing ADC Gateway XenApp 6.5 XenApp 7.1x and Citrix Cloud technologies
• Experience with Active Directory GPOs DNS and DHCP
• Indepth functional knowledge of varying versions of Microsoft and Linux operating systems
• Experience with migrating onpremises applications to the cloud is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory in a multidomain environment
• Experience with PowerShell and PowerCLI
• Strong organizational time management and communication skills
• Application support experience
• Strong technical background and ability to work with engineers developers and other key stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
• 4 years of previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Relevant industry certificates are preferred
