Key Responsibilities:

• Effective Collections: Successfully recover accounts in line with client and state guidelines.
• Accurate Documentation: Keep patient account information updated timely and precisely.
• Patient & Carrier Communication: Handle inbound calls professionally resolving account inquiries and issues.
• Goal Achievement: Use collection tools to meet or exceed recovery goals and standards.
• Problem Solving: Resolve account issues promptly and accurately.
• Daily Productivity: Consistently meet daily productivity standards.
• Positive Patient Relations: Communicate respectfully with patients and their families.
• Special Projects: Take on assigned special projects showcasing versatility.

Qualifications:

• Healthcare Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance billing collections payment reimbursement verification and/or refunds.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in a multifacility hospital business office is a plus.
