Job Summary:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

Provides quality of care consistent with professional standards in their professional discipline.

Abides by medical staff organization bylaws rules and regulations.

Abides by hospital policies and procedures.

Documents all patient care information in the medical records accurately and timely.

Works with all staff administration and community agencies to provide patient care.

Ensures appropriate coverage for care of patients in their absence.

Participates in continuing education programs as assigned.
-
Notifies the administration of any adverse actions resulting from a malpractice action.
-
Assumes an active role in the education of patients families and staff.
-
Coordinates patient care treatment and services with other practitioners and personnel.

You must meet the following requirement to be considered for employment:

Must hold a degree of medicine or osteopathic medicine from a school of medicine or osteopathic medicine that is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and the American
-
Medical Association or American Osteopathic Association.

Must hold a current valid license to practice medicine in the State of Indiana.

Must hold a current valid Indiana Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.

Must hold a current valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number.
-
Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Physician 3 you are expected to provide comprehensive medical evaluations and oncall psychiatric medical care to the most severe and persistent mentally ill or developmentally disabled individuals in the state.

Clinical competence ability to work with others compliance with medical staff membership obligations and high moral character are essential.
