Senior Estimating Engineer

Lead the Project Capital Cost Estimating Team to develop & endorse Capitol Cost Estimates as per BAPCO Standards, confirming to AACE recommended practices, from Stage 1 through all subsequent stages in the project life cycle, ensuring the Estimates are accurate with variances in permissible limits.

Update all applicable norms and manhour rates for use in estimating tool(s). Connect tool(s) directly where appropriate to the BAPCO Oracle financial, ensuring the availability of all the relevant data.

Input and supply relevant data as required to support the project development team KPIs, to keep track of performance of the department.

Provide advice in assurance reviews, at different project development stages (not limited to Value Engineering (VE) exercises and other Front-End Loading (FEL) related to Value Improving Practices (VIP)), constructability reviews, leading to value addition to project.
