Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Tasks. Exciting new job role in Kildare for an experienced ADON.
Assist with management of the Department of Nursing, including evaluation of staff. Evaluate and take action around complaints, failed audits, and staff problems. Maintain and update audit, compliance and legal documentation, including analyzing patient and staff data.
Responsibilities :-
- Ensuring that set standards and legislative requirements for resident care are attained and exceeded
- The overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents
- Ensuring the development of a person-centered model of care which is driven by a respect for the rights of older people and are focused on quality of life -measures meaningful to individual residents
- Leading and managing an enthusiastic team to work to their potential
- Ensuring the development of policies, programs and evidence-based practice consistent with standards (HIQA) and standard policies within the nursing home
Requirements
- Must have experience as CNM / ADON or DON
- Must be registered with NMBI
- Must have valid work visa in Ireland, No work permit offered
- 3 years post-registration experience caring for the elderly in the last 6 years
- Must have management experience
- Excellent people skills
- Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
