Job Description
Education: At least a high school diploma. Courses in food and beverage management may be an added advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, including handling inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Time Management: The ability to organize and manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
Knowledge of menus and services: Thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu, and makes appropriate recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a staff team, including mentoring and training new employees and ensuring high service standards are met.
Ability to handle pressure: Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak periods in food and beverage service.
