Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop program and maintain PLC and HMI systems for various control applications.
• Perform field installation commissioning and testing of control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement control system solutions.
• Document all work performed including schematics diagrams and user manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and endusers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in ElectroMechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 13 years of experience in control system integration or a similar role.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming.
• Strong networking and computer skills.
• Handson experience with electrical and/or electronics systems.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with various communication protocols (e.g. Modbus Ethernet/IP).
• Certification in relevant technical areas.
