The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to hospital policy the hospital mission and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines. Directs coordinates and delegates activities to foster patient / familycentered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Assesses the physical psychosocial and educational needs of the patient.
2. Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
3. Makes appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
4. Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
5. Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care patient satisfaction environment and professional development.

• Completion of 1Travel Assignment Required
• Primarily ICU but can float to CVICUPreferred
• ACLS Copy Required in submission

• A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
• Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the travelers best interest to provide a writeup of what happened for the managers review.
• Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
• Fulltime employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
