Senior Implementation Specialist - Large Capital Project Management

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will:

• Follow security architecture guidelines and collaborate with cloud security teams to establish cloud-based architecture (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
  
• Lead the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing
  
• Address moderately complex to complex issues through in-depth analysis and evaluation of variable factors
  
• Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments
  
• Develop specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings
  
• Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
  
• Influence department strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components
  
• Work in a small team focused on product engineering to define architecture, guide product engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of technical experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
  
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS architectures and their respective security considerations.
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
  
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
  
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  
• Strong understanding of network and infrastructure components, including load balancing, DNS, and VPNs.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex situations or data to make informed decisions.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  
• Proven ability to influence department strategy and make technical decisions with minimal supervision.
  
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing.
  
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
