Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical failure diagnosis and repairs on advanced industrial equipment.
• Equipment types include complex
  • pneumatic
  • hydraulic
  • electrical
  • mechanical
  • robotic ( Kuka ABB)
  • variable frequency and DC drives
  • programmable logic controllers ( Siemens Allen Bradley)
  • computer controlled systems
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance task ensuring equipment production readiness at all times.
• Communicate with coworkers and management personnel both verbally and written whereby information may be passed that is critical for production readiness.
• Respond to trouble calls in a timely manner eliminating unnecessary downtime.
• Find root cause of failures eliminating repeat failures for the same issue.
• Consistently look for and implement ways to improve equipment reliability.
• Robotic Electrical Troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting skills in Electrical and Automation systems
• Welding and mechanical skills a plus
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred associate degree in maintenance related field.
• Experienced in diagnosis and repair of complex pneumatic hydraulic electrical mechanical robotic programmable logic and computer controlled systems.
• Be able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical blue prints including hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• 5 yrs. experience in a similar maintenance roll required.
