Job Title: Event Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Event Coordinator in the planning and execution of various events ensuring that all details are handled efficiently and effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning coordination and execution of events including meetings conferences weddings and other special occasions.
- Communicate with vendors clients and event attendees to ensure all needs are met.
- Assist in the creation of event materials such as invitations programs and signage.
- Provide onsite support during events including registration attendee assistance and problem resolution.
- Conduct postevent evaluations to determine success and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to event planning and execution.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed such as answering phones responding to emails and managing schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and event management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
