Job Title: TravelCertified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: Night

Guarantee Hours: 37.5

Description / Comment :

• 75 MILE RADIUS RULE no exceptions
• Shift: 11p7a
• Every other weekend is required
• Must float to all units (same building)
• 37.5 guaranteed hours
• 1 years experience
• BLS
• NY license

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming eating and toileting.
• Take and record vital signs including temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration rates.
• Assist patients with mobility needs including transferring walking and exercising.
• Provide basic patient care such as repositioning skin care and catheter care.
• Assist with feeding patients who need help eating.
• Monitor and report changes in patients conditions to the supervising nurse.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Assist in maintaining patient hygiene and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
• Document patient information and care provided in electronic health records or paper charts.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist nurses with medical procedures as required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a stateapproved CNA training program.
• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant in NY.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patientcentered approach to care.
• Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform manual tasks.
