Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Radiologic Technologist position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Shift: Days Full Time

Salary: $68000.00 to $93000.00

Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography procedures on patients according to provider/physician orders. Performs proper xray exposure to aid in the diagnosis of fractures diseases and other injuries. Performs CT examinations with knowledgeable operation of the scanner and scan protocols. The technologist must prepare and position patients for the xray or CT examination and take the appropriate images. The technologist also must process imaging plates and inspect maintain and make minor repairs to the xray and CT equipment.

The RT works under the direct supervision of the radiology manager and the consulting radiologists from Billings Clinic and Virtual Radiology. He or she also works to satisfy the demands of the ordering physician under the means of the radiology department and contributes to the efficient operation of the department ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. The radiologic technologist may also be expected to help with tasks associated with mammography and to perform the following exams; Pulmonary function tests Holter/cardiac event monitor hookups EKGs and/or ultrasounds

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• Prefer a minimum of one year of experience but would consider new graduates.
• Preferred training and experience working as a radiographer and computed tomography technologist.
• Must display a good understanding of agerelated developmental issues in pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as oncall duty is required

Education:

• Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health for the State of Montana.
