Job Description
- Configure builtin alerts and incidents to notify of events and thresholds.
- Identify background task success/failure job queueing slow workbooks disk usage and license allocations.
- Create custom administrative views from repository data.
- Set custom datadriven alerts to align with the organizations policies and goals.
- Troubleshoot issues using Tableau Server logs.
- Resolve outstanding Tableau server issues.
- Manage Tableau upgrades.
- Handle server failure management restarts and test server management.
- Ensure backups are running efficiently.
- Conduct postserver patching tests to confirm report functionality and server performance.
- Communicate data reports to clients effectively and assist in understanding and meeting their requirements.
- Tableau Site Administration:
- Create and manage the sites users and groups.
- Create projects to organize content on the site and assign permissions.
- Promote and certify content and measure the use of analytics within the site.
