Job Description

Rotolos Pizzeria is looking to hire a Kitchen Manager.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations food production and kitchen staff management. The ideal candidate will ensure high food quality safety and efficiency in a fastpaced culinary environment. Responsibilities include menu creation food safety compliance inventory management and collaboration with management on financial goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and update menu items and pricing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Train kitchen employees on cooking techniques and safety procedures
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and maintenance needs
  • Create schedules and manage payroll for kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial goals
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding food quality or service
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols
  • Participate in recruitment and performance evaluations of kitchen staff
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and morale
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or relevant role
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse team in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in menu planning and cost control
  • Indepth knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures
  • Certification in food handling and safety
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • Proven ability to handle highpressure situations and adapt to changing priorities
  • Solid understanding of financial aspects of restaurant operations
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
  • Previous experience with budgeting and financial planning
  • Knowledge of industry trends and innovative cooking techniques
