Job Description: Engineer / Sr. Engineer IT Infra
Location: Yelahanka Bangalore
You Will:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing managing and supporting IT infrastructure projects and systems. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture server management cloud services cybersecurity principles and IT operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
You will be successful you will be expected to:
- Design implement and manage enterprise IT infrastructure projects and upgrades including servers storage networking and virtualization environments.
- Monitor and maintain the stability integrity and security of all IT infrastructure components ensuring 24/7 availability of missioncritical services.
- Install configure and troubleshoot hardware and software components to ensure optimum performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements assess needs and recommend solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform proactive maintenance to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure and recommend ways to leverage them for improved efficiency and performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure architecture processes and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers including training and troubleshooting assistance.
- Adhere to IT policies and procedures regarding system security data protection and compliance with regulatory requirements.
You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- Bachelor s degree / Diploma in computer science Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 35 years experience in designing implementing and managing IT infrastructure projects in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols hardware and software components including routers switches firewalls servers storage and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of ISO 27001 (Information security management systems)
- Proven experience in Troubleshooting firewall infrastructure and firewallrelated problems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices including intrusion detection endpoint protection and vulnerability management.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement timely solutions.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNA MCSA/MCSE AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent are a plus.
