Job Description

Overview

As a Customer Sales Associate you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships supporting sales initiatives and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your contribution will directly impact the companys revenue and customer satisfaction levels.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales and achieve targets
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing product information and recommendations
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for crossselling and upselling
  • Stay informed about product knowledge current promotions and company policies
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on leads to drive sales growth
  • Participate in sales meetings product knowledge sessions and ongoing training to enhance selling techniques
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to improve sales strategies
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment

Required qualifications

  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in using pointofsale (POS) systems and other salesrelated tools
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus
  • Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an advantage
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Problemsolving and negotiation abilities
  • Passion for sales and building longterm customer relationships
