As a Customer Sales Associate you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships supporting sales initiatives and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your contribution will directly impact the companys revenue and customer satisfaction levels.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales and achieve targets
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by providing product information and recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for crossselling and upselling
- Stay informed about product knowledge current promotions and company policies
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow up on leads to drive sales growth
- Participate in sales meetings product knowledge sessions and ongoing training to enhance selling techniques
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends to improve sales strategies
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment
Required qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues
- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using pointofsale (POS) systems and other salesrelated tools
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales is a plus
- Understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an advantage
