DRIVER
Skills, Knowledge and Ability Required
Valid G/DZ driver s license with a clean commercial driver s abstract
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
Previous professional driving experience is preferred
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Responsibilities Include
Greeting customers and providing general product information (specifications, cooking and/or storage and handling instructions)
Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 100 - 500 cases/shift)
POS (point-of-sale) operation
Processing and Collection of customer payments
Order Picking
Order and/or Delivery loading/unloading
Stocking shelves, walk-in, and display freezers
Assist other drivers on deliveries
Allocating time and resources to complete all daily tasks within regular store-hours
Assembly of corrugated boxes
Packaging of select products
Sales Reps sample preparations
Maintaining premises and vehicles clean and orderly
General janitorial duties
Seasonal Hours
March thru October - 6 shifts per week, 10-12 hours per shift (Monday thru Saturday)
November thru February - 4 to 6 shifts per week, 10-12 hours per shift (Depending on availability of Driver(s))
Work Environment
Shift START time is 7:00am, Shift END time is 5:00pm (Monday thru Friday)
Shift START time is 7:30am, Shift END time is 3:00pm (Saturday)

Training and Probation period (first 3-months): $18.00
Permanent Placement Wage: $20.00-22.00
