Job Description
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
The Accountant is the primary point of contact for ANGARAI and its entities is responsible for all financial reports to the CEO of ANGARAI (Key financial reporting only) and for accounting services related to preparing analyzing maintaining and reviewing various financial statements. (GLOBAL).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The role of the Accountant is to manage the payroll processing and banking transactions prepare monthend bank reconciliations and process accounts receivable accounts payable billing and maintain and record all financial records.(GLOBAL)
- Responsible for all financial reports
- Support the ongoing management of existing accounts.
- Prepare analyze maintain and review all financial statements
- Responsible for budget preparation and reporting
- Manage and maintain all bookkeeping. (Global)
- Update and maintain all employees information
- Responsible for payroll processing for ANGARAI employees.
- Responsible for all billing transactions
- Responsible for accounts payable processing vendor invoices and making payments.
- Report profit and loss of the company
- Prepare balance sheet
- Responsible for handling inbound and outbound phone calls (global)
- Responsible for all banking transactions and preparing financial statements as required by banks.
- Prepare and process bank reconciliations at month ends.
- Maintain and record all financial records.
- Prepare and finalize yearend accounts for the company.
Requirements
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to perform and understand accounting and financial functions.
- Identify research resolve and communicate discrepancies on a continual basis.
- Excellent organizational analytical communication and client/relationship skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to complete within established and often tight deadlines.
- Analyze and research accounting and financial system issues to identify and evaluate innovative solutions for a more efficient and effective system.
- Knowledge of database systems quick books and other reporting software.
- Knowledge of building analytical business metric reports.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Selfmotivated high energy and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of budget preparation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial functions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Commerce Graduate or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance
- Minimum 12 years managing online accounting and finance preferred
- Experience managing relationships with internal and external customers. (GLOBAL)
- Fresher having good command over accounting principles will be considered as Accountant Intern
