About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for growing sales and market share of expendables in North America. You will manage and support local distributors provide technical support to customers and ensure the timely delivery of quotes and orders. Additionally you will handle hot and cold repairs coordinate with installation partners and represent SEFPRO in customer plants.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager will manage sales targets for expendables support local distributors provide technical support and ensure quality processing and delivery of orders. You will also be the main point of contact for emergency repairs manage relationships with installation partners and coordinate supply of materials for repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Market Growth: Manage and support local distributor in growing sales and achieving sales targets for expendables.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to North American customers with assistance from central technical teams in Europe.
  • Customer Site Support: Support expendable installation at customer sites and ensure timely delivery of quotes and orders.
  • Repair Management: Handle emergency repairs or planned maintenance operations manage relationships with local installation partners and coordinate supply of materials.
  • Customer Proximity: Represent SEFPRO in customer plants follow up on performance of solutions present SEFPRO solutions and identify crossselling opportunities.
  • Service Interventions: Generate and follow up on quotes support with 3D scans and assist sales managers in promoting SEFPRO Care and expendables.

Required Experience:

  • Technical Expertise: Must have technical expertise in the glass industry industrial ceramics materials and/or refractories. Willingness to learn about glass furnaces and their operations.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships with customers and influence decisionmaking through effective communication and material knowledge.
  • SelfMotivation: Dedicated selfstarter with high motivation reactive to customer requests and driven to grow and develop the business.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel >75% of the time for customer site visits primarily in North America.

Must Have:

  • Technical Expertise: In the glass industry industrial ceramics materials and/or refractories.
  • Relationship Building: Strong communication skills and ability to understand customer requirements.
  • SelfMotivation: High degree of motivation and ability to react to customer requests.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel >75% of the time for customer site visits in North America.
