Job Description
The Role
We are looking for an experienced accountant that has managed independently all accounting matters of a company. The role will report to the Head of Finance for Bulgaria on a daytoday basis.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of the monthly accounts including journal preparation and posting
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Control of balance sheets and supporting reconciliations
- Identify systems and control improvements
- Experienced in supporting company audit
- Preparation and submission of all reports required by the government (VAT VIES etc)
- Month and Year close with all relevant reports both internal and external.
- Other ad hoc projects and duties required by the organisation where required
Key Attributes:
- At least 3 years of experience managing all accounting aspects of a company
- ACCA Qualified accountant with several years experience of working within a finance department is desirable
- Experience of accounting software packages (NetSuite is a plus)
- Experienced with using Excel;
- Working level of English at least B2
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Driven and ambitious individual
- Strong communicator with the ability and develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
