Job Description
Job Summary:
- Responsible for designing building and deploying scalable and reliable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure with focus on Azure Data Analytics services.
- The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Data bricks.
- The candidate should also have a deep understanding of data modeling data warehousing ETL processes and data analytics.
- The Azure Data Analytics Engineer will work closely on understanding requirements & design data solutions meeting the needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and deploy data analytics solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory Azure Data bricks Azure Synapse with focus on DataIngestion into lake.
- Create and maintain data models and data warehouses on Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and deploy data analytics and visualization solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics Power BI or similar tools.
- Optimize data solutions for performance scalability and reliability.
- Implement data security and privacy controls to protect data on the Azure platform.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data analytics requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Synapse Analytics Azure Databricks.
- Deep understanding of data modeling data warehousing ETL processes and data analytics.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy controls on the Azure platform.
- Programming languages i.e Python(PySpark) SQL and Scala.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer/Azure Solutions Architect.
- Knowledge with/of data visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar.
- Experience with latest technologies for data i.e. Kafka.
