Job Description

The Supply Chain SSC Lead is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the supply chain operations within the Shared Service Center. This includes overseeing the procurement of materials according to company policies managing supplier relationships and leading a team of buyers and logistics personnel. The role involves close collaboration with other department managers to align strategies and optimize the purchasing process.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper procurement of materials in accordance with company policies
  • Identify select evaluate and develop suppliers
  • Negotiate prices and terms & conditions with suppliers
  • Review quotations and commercial conditions to support purchasing decisions
  • Create purchase orders and monitor material deliveries and supplier payments
  • Generate weekly KPI reports
  • Manage lead motivate and develop the assigned team of buyers and logistics personnel
  • Work closely with managers of other departments to implement strategic activities for process optimization
  • Verify that purchase requests are complete and clear
  • Obtain and/or generate necessary information and documentation during different stages of the purchasing process
  • Analyze offers in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Operate and maintain purchase orders in SAP
  • Monitor and develop suppliers to manage contracts agreements certifications and payment terms
  • Supervise the assigned team: develop the team manage workload and mediate conflicts
  • Address and coordinate supplier quality issues and handle complaints
  • Prepare and present KPI reports and project status reports
  • Support project managers purchasing managers and category managers in implementing purchasing requirements
  • Review terms and conditions for supplier purchases as needed
  • Provide followup reports to various departments (sales projects quality etc.) and communicate purchase order updates effectively
  • Develop review and implement activities/tools/procedures to support and improve purchasing functions
  • Expedite purchase orders and ensure delivery timelines
  • Monitor subsupplier deliveries for schedule and quality compliance
  • Undergo health prevention exams
  • Comply with internal and external company regulations and manuals
  • Ensure the identification of hazards and implement protective measures to prevent accidents
  • Identify environmental aspects and impacts of activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management procurement or a related field with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in SAP and SRM systems
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
