The Payroll Team Lead will be responsible to oversee the payroll processing for several countries in EMEA, collaborate with the payroll vendor/s and direct the work of the team members supporting these particular countries. Main responsibilities and tasks: Payroll service delivery management (70% ) • Ensures timely and accurate data submission to the payroll vendor/s, according to the agreed process and timeline • Plans and assigns the activities according to the payroll calendars, ensuring proper resource utilization • Monitors the case volumes and other case related metrics and SLAs, for the Iron Mountain team and for the vendor. • Drives high customer satisfaction • Service delivery excellence: constantly reviews the existing processes and procedures, identifies gaps and improvements and makes recommendations for changes • Ensures payroll controls are in place, up to date, and followed through by the team • Makes sure that all processes are documented and reviewed regularly • Closely supervises activities related to the UK payroll processing in particular Team Management (15%) • Manages day to day activities for a subset of the team, including monitoring workflows, team assignments and processing deadlines • Orgnaises the work in such a way that there is a proper backup structure and plans in place • Monitors performance against goals • Provides timely feedback to the team members, takes corrective steps where needed • Leads with empathy and by example, ensuring high employee engagement and morale Escalation Management (10%) • Serves as first point of escalation in case of payroll related issues for the supported countries • Manages employee, business and vendor escalations for the supported markets Vendor Management (5%) • Supports the EMEA Payroll Manager in the activities related to vendor management - monitoring of the vendor performance, services reviews etc.
