Android App Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using the Android SDK
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Unittest code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews
• Optimize application for maximum performance
• Stay up to date with new technological trends in the mobile application space
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Proven experience as an Android developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks like Angular React or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates should have their own laptop.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven working experience in Android app development
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles patterns and best practices
• Experience with offline storage threading and performance tuning
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
• Solid understanding of the full mobile app development life cycle
• Experience with Git for version control
• Ability to work in a fastpaced iterative development environment
• Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills
