As a Controller you will be responsible for supporting assigned healthcare portfolio companies with financial reporting treasury management and tax preparation. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial statements and providing timely information for strategic decisionmaking. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of month end close including cash reconciliations recording of journal entries balance sheet account reconciliations and financial statement preparation
Responsible for the accurate preparation of location level and provider level fully allocated financial statements
Performs monthly financial statement review and analysis of the company s operating results and additional adhoc analysis as necessary
Assists accounts payable department with reviewing of invoices and coding verifications
Prepares financial information to support leadership and board meetings
Responsible for the accurate calculation and communication of provider productivity compensation plans
Provides management with accurate and timely information to make strategic and operation decisions
Evaluates policies and procedures and proactively identifies areas for improvement to strengthen the internal control environment and to streamline processes without jeopardizing financial statement integrity
Assists with treasury management function including managing working capital and improving available cash on hand
Oversees tax return preparation with external tax firms
Other duties as assigned by management

qualifications
required- Bachelors degree or higher
- Financial Leadership experience in multisite/location healthcare services organization (6 years)
- Excel (4 years)
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) (4 years)
- Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
