Auto Body Technician

We are currently seeking applicants for a Auto Body Technician position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Overview:
We offer full automotive services and are looking for an individual with shop experience preferably Red Seal Tech but willing to take on a Level 2 or 3.

Responsibilities:
Perform body repairs and restoration on vehicles according to industry standards
Remove damaged parts and replace with new ones
Straighten bent frames and panels
Repair dents scratches and other cosmetic damages
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding masking and priming
Apply paint and finish coats to vehicles
Inspect completed work for quality assurance
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
Red Seal preferred but willing to take on a level 2 or 3
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair techniques
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent problemsolving skills
Valid drivers license
Must be able to work independently or as a team player
Must have a good work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop

This is a full time regular position 8 am 5 pm MondayFriday no weekends. The salary is competitive based on experience and there is a benefit package available upon hiring.

Job Types: Fulltime Permanent

Pay: $28.00$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
