Job Description

Job Title: Health Care Assistant

Location: United Kingdom

Job Type: FullTime/PartTime

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide highquality care to patients ensuring their comfort and wellbeing. This role involves assisting with daily activities supporting nursing staff and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming and feeding.
  • Mobility Support: Help patients move in and out of beds baths wheelchairs or automobiles.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients vital signs such as temperature blood pressure pulse and respiration rates.
  • Medication Assistance: Assist in administering medications and ensure patients follow their prescribed treatment plans.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patients rooms and other areas.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Communication: Report any changes in patients condition to the nursing staff and keep accurate records of care provided.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following infection control procedures and handling medical equipment properly.

    Qualifications:
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent is preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
    • Skills:
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Compassionate and patientfocused approach.
      • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients.
    • Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
