Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain eCommerce and customer facing digital applications to meet the everevolving demands of the business. Partner with vendors and technology teams to drive our global digital technology solutions

Design and create robust interfaces to integrate a variety of systems and technologies to solve business problems and create scalable solutions

Work closely with technical architects and architecture governance team for solution development and design reviews

Evaluate and select enterprise application development/integration technologies and solution development lifecycle methodologies

Provide input and lead the development of new features / fixing defects / APIs in an object oriented or functional language

Collaborate with product owners business analysts developers and other stakeholders to identify develop document and deliver APIs in alignment with the shortterm and mediumterm strategy of business.

Work with the team and PO in shaping the product roadmap

With the help of the team define and own the technical implementation of integrations/enhancements/fixes

Build domain knowledge and support Platform/Solutions Architects with API Lifecycle release management

Build proper architecture into our services stack

Design develop test and implement APIs for use in applications

Responsible for test script definition and management including functional regression and load testing

Technical owner of the Group API platform and define API Governance standards policies and frameworks

Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle

Skills

Must have

Strong knowledge of HTTP REST and SOAP protocols and MACH architecture

Hands on experience with Java C Python .NET preferred

Extensive experience focusing on Web Services REST Web APIs and MySQL/SQL Server Databases

Hands on experience with XML JSON are crucial

Experience and knowledge on Object Oriented ROA SOA Aspect Oriented Architectures Design patterns and implementation

Familiarity with MS SQL / MySQL development including data modelling concurrency stored procedure development and tuning

Azure as a Cloud platform

Content Delivery Networks Caching

Good to have

Understanding of Akamai WAF & Caching features

Expertise in data structures design patterns and Algorithms

Experience on Tools such as UML design CI/CD (Jenkins) Monitoring tools (such as Kibana) Log management

Good debugging skills are a must for applications and services

Excellent knowledge and Handson experience on automated test tools and DevOPS tools

Your qualifications

Masters/Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Information Science disciplines or comparable STEM related degree

Minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant handson work experience

Must have experience in adapting to Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Should be proficient in using any Git based code versioning system

Successful development of scalable highperformance and distributed services through multiple shipcycles
